Classic Goulash

Makes 4 servings. Double for a large crowd!

Ingredients:
* 1 pound ground beef
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 1-1/2 cloves garlic, chopped
* 1-1/2 cups water
* 1-15 oz can tomato sauce
* 1-14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
* 1 Tbspn & 1-1/2 tsp soy sauce
* 1 Tbspn dried Italian seasoning
* 1-1/2 bay leaves
* 1-1/2 tsp seasoned salt
* 1 cup uncooked macaroni

Directions:
1. In a large dutch oven, cook and stir ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking up meat until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Skim off excess fat and stir in onion and garlic, cooking until onions are translucent, about 10 more minutes.

2. Stir in water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, and seasoned salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

3. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Stir in uncooked macaroni, cover, and simmer over low heat until pasta is tender, about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Remove from heat, discard bay leaves, and stir.
